A historic overview of the
shifts in access to the rivers, specifically the roads which
were sold to industrial interests at the turn of the century.
"Space can not only be described by what it is; it can
be described by what it is not. The traces of exclusion, injustice,
false consciousness, and repression haunt the spaces in which
our homes, parks, and institutions are built. In an image/spectacle
society, these traces are often unseen, covered by advertisements
or bulldozed for condominiums."
