"I'm interested in Nietzche...wait, bad joke. I mean niches. There are roles to be filled in each and every system, and the elements of that system drift toward filling those roles, insuring the integrity. EVERYONE knows about the 3 rivers in Pittsburgh, but there seems to be a fear about embracing the rivers for all they have to offer. Growing up near the Long Island Sound, I understand how a body of water can unfairly be "stigmatized" by ignorance. The niche of "avoiding a body of water for fear of the filth" seemingly does quite well in modern culture and I feel it is important to change that. Knowledge is the first step."
